The Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) is now accepting applications for our competition scholarships.

Any ASCA member who is a resident of Western Australia, Tasmania, or the Northern Territory is eligible to apply, to have their flights covered to participate in their nearest regional competition. Scholarships are available for competitors and judges, as well as aspiring judges interested in the new ASCA Judges Intern program.

To apply, simply send a one-page letter to competitions@aasca.com telling us about your contribution to the specialty coffee industry, and why you should be selected. Applications close 27 June 2017, and will be reviewed by the ASCA Competitions Committee, and announced prior to competition registration opening on 30 June.

Twelve scholarships are available. Please note that receiving a scholarship does not automatically gain entry into competitions. Successful applicants will still need to secure their spots, and pay for their entry fees into the competition, or applicable judges calibration fees.
