Dairy milk supplier and Barista Championship sponsor Vitasoy made it possible for every Albury Wodonga Health staff member to grab themselves a free coffee for the first 19 days of June.

Staff members at the hospital could head to any one of the three onsite cafés and grab their hot beverage of choice – a token of appreciation for the work they have done, and continue to do, throughout the pandemic.

“Vitasoy is proudly manufactured on the Albury-Wodonga border, and we’re passionate about supporting the local community,” said David Tyack, Vitasoy Australia Managing Director.

“COVID-19 has had a significant impact on all of us – especially our healthcare workers. As a small gesture of our immense appreciation, we’ve partnered with Albury Wodonga Health to say thanks to those working on the frontline.”

This fantastic initiative from the Vitasoy team was a great way to thank local healthcare workers, reminding them that they have the full support from the community and that we’re all in this together.

Albury Wodonga Health called this a great example of how a brand can work with an organisation to support and give back to the local community.

COVID-19 has hit businesses hard, and with restrictions easing and a number of places re-opening, Vitasoy also wanted to do our part to support locals in getting back on their feet.

To help local business kick-start their operations, Vitasoy will be supplying free stock to those cafés reopening across Albury and Wodonga.

Any local cafés who would like to redeem this offer, can contact Vitasoy directly at café@vitasoy.com.au
