The Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) is proud to once again be an Official Partner of The Rocks Aroma Festival, a celebration of coffee in central Sydney.

This year, ASCA is offering its members and sponsors a chance to get involved, and have a presence in its main room, on the main day of the festival on Sunday 24 July. ASCA will have a series of tables available to its members and sponsors, who can set up and offer educational opportunities to the public. Members and sponsors are invited to send their expressions of interest to participate in the ASCA space to info@aasca.com by 24 June.

We are also proud to offer judging opportunities to our members, at a few coffee competitions taking place on 24 July. Preference will be given to existing certified judges, however any member interested in judging can send through their availability to info@aasca.com by 24 June.

ASCA will be carrying out a series of workshops leading up to the event, from Wednesday 13 July through to Saturday 23 July. Classes will be offered during the evenings on weekdays, and afternoon and evenings on weekends.

Workshops are open to both members and the general public. A final schedule, and registration for the classes, will be made available via The Rocks Aroma web site shortly.  Workshops will include:

Coffee Appreciation Course

Alternative Brew Methods

Master Home Barista Skills

Comparative Cupping

Alternative Brewing Methods

Latte Art

Stay tuned to the ASCA web site and social media channels, where we will announce when registration is open.
