The 2026 Australian Coffee Championships at Big Plans Melbourne were an exciting showcase of coffee excellence and vibrant community spirit. From November 20th–23rd, Australia’s best baristas, latte artists and brewers put forth inspiring performances, and every competitor deserves huge congratulations for the effort and dedication brought to the stage over the three days.
The standard this year has been outstanding, with many first-time competitors displaying remarkable courage and skill, earning impressive placements among the finalists.
These events would not be possible without the incredible hours put in by our judges, volunteers, WCC representatives, competitors and the people that support everyone just mentioned. This may get said every year, but we are incredibly grateful for the hard work in every role, whether on stage or behind the scenes. All involved showed true commitment and dedication to making our coffee community in Australia the best it can be.
