The Australian Specialty Coffee Association (ASCA) is pleased to announce that the ASCA Australian Coffee Championships will take place from 7–9 February 2019, in conjunction with the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE).
Following the announcement from World Coffee Events regarding the dates for both the 2019 World Barista Championship (WBC) and 2019 World Brewers Cup (WBrC), we know many of you were concerned that holding the Australian Coffee Championships at MICE would not provide enough time for competitors to travel between both events.
In order to help us facilitate the best Australian Coffee Championships for our competitors, sponsors, judges and volunteers, our partners at MICE have offered to bring the exhibition date forward to February 2019.
This new date will ensure we can provide an outstanding national competition experience, and allow enough time for the Australian Coffee Champions to prepare for the WBC and WBrC.
